The course for leaders on Creating an ISO 22301 Compliant Business Continuity Management System is designed for leadership teams, enhancing key decision maker understanding on the structure and requirements of a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) as part of Enterprise Risk Management. This course explains the importance and roles of management structures and champions, the need for effective risk assessments through a formal Gap Analysis and BIA process, how planning and operational implementation practices support resiliency measures, and the requirement to codify knowledge and best practice into integrated policies, plans and procedures (aligned to ISO 22301 and other standards). The course creates a community of practice around resiliency and continuity of business, looking at the need for appropriate support and resourcing, and how training and exercising operationalizes concepts. The course takes leadership teams from start to finish in how to design an effective and integrated system to protect the strategic, operational and tactical needs of their organization.
