During a crisis situation a critical component of the success (or failure) of an organizational response is the ability for management teams to effectively communicate and share timely and accurate information; information sharing allows for knowledge led decision making. This leadership course on Critical Incident Reporting assists leaders, at all levels, in the process of sharing clear, unambiguous, accurate and timely information during the initial ‘Golden Hour’ of an event on a wide range of critical incidents; including thefts, fraud, road traffic accidents, workplace violence, kidnappings, assaults, robberies, disease outbreaks, information loss, terrorist attacks, facility fires, missing people, casualties, civil unrest, arrest and detentions, fatalities, CBRN incidents, investigations, and a wide range of natural hazards, from earthquakes to damaging storms. Associated with this training is the use of the SITREP and Event File. HR PHR Credits (Functional Area 6): This course supports Human Resource professionals in communicating and training the workforce on the business continuity and disaster recovery plans, manage workplace safety and security risks, enable the effective use of organizational incident and emergency response plans, and conduct a needs analysis to identify the organizational safety and security requirements. This training also protects the organization from loss and liability, develops leadership concepts and applications, and supports risk management techniques.
