The implementation and management of a ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) to protect organizational interests requires an understanding of how management structures at the headquarters and localized levels, key positions and champions, planning and operations, understanding and articulating risk, leveraging supportive policies, plans and protocols, using support and resourcing, and the operationalization of knowledge through training and exercising.
