Small and short term deployed teams face risks when working abroad, and often no appointed or trained lead on safety and security is defined to manage risk and respond to an emergency. This program comes with 5 modules addressing the duties of a Trip Team Leader, command and control principles, hotel selection guidance, travel risk management and emergency communication strategies. This course provides 2hrs of learning within 3 mandatory courses, and up to 2hrs of learning within 2 elective courses with 4 HRCI and SHRM credits. The program can be taken at the participant’s pace, and it is provided in various languages. Global PHR Credits (Functional Area 6): This course supports Human Resource professionals in ensuring workplace health, safety and security in accordance with federal laws and regulations; including an occupational injury prevention program to address workplace safety risks. The course helps professionals develop policies, plans and procedures to direct the appropriate use of electronic media and hardware, develop, monitor and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans, develop and administer privacy policies, and develop, implement and evaluate measures to protect employees and young people from a wide range of risks.
