Aviation accidents, especially where groups of staff are travelling together on the same flight, can be devastating in terms of loss of life. In addition, if key managers or technical experts were on board then the crisis may be exacerbated through the loss of leadership and critical knowledge and skills. The ability to establish the facts and identify and engage in a multi-stakeholder solution will be critical in defining the impacts and addressing the implications of an accident.
