CMLT-30_English: Event Terrorist Attack

Whether hosting or attending an event, certain duty of care responsibilities exist for both hosting and attendee organizations. Events can present attractive targets to criminals, hostile governments, active shooters, or terrorist groups. Events may be directly targeted or may be in proximity to an attack, and be exposed to risks through “proximity and circumstance.” The ability to identify a potential threat and react to it before it occurs, or respond to and manage an emergent or occurring incident, is critical.
