SDT003_English: Evaluating Safe Driver Performance, Behavior and Standards

The Safe Driver Training and Evaluation Training course is designed to assist Fleet Managers and Driver Instructors to understand how to develop, implement and evaluate the personal and professional growth and competency levels of safe drivers within their teams. The course supports an understanding of how to develop a Safe Driver program, how to schedule and manage training and evaluations, the content required for an effective program of instruction, how to implement and time driver evaluations, as well as the importance of reporting and record keeping. The course looks at different forms of training delivery, addresses remedial and just in time training, and looks at the core focus areas associated with the development of training knowledge, skill and competence. The course is designed to create self-sufficient and self-sustaining programs within teams to establish and maintain a Safe Driver program, to established international standards.
