S019_English: Identifying and Reporting Suspicious People and Vehicles

Often criminals, people with mental health issues or terrorist groups carry out surveillance before conducting an attack; and by being able to identify and report suspicious people and vehicles then threats can be identified before a crisis occurs. This course helps staff understand how to identify and report suspicious people and vehicles using a proven and effective system of identifying risks and reporting key features. This includes simple systems by which to effectively report on the appearance and clothing or accessories of suspicious people, as well as the make, model, color, shape and identifying marks for vehicles. Situational awareness, and the reporting of a potential threat, is increasingly important where criminals and terrorists may target people, activities and locations.
