S023_English: Workplace Conflict Resolution

Workplace conflict can quickly escalate into violence unless managed in a mature, balanced and effective manner. This course offers strategies by which to identify and react to workplace conflict, before it escalates into violence.  It looks at the risks associated with conflict, how to identify the warning indicators before a verbal or physical confrontation occurs, how to deescalate aggression, when and how to notify others of the risks and needs, and strategies by which to extract staff members from a threat – whether directly or indirectly involved.
