TTT003_English: Creating and Running Crisis and Incident Management Exercises

The effectiveness of business resiliency and continuity is operationalized through training and testing, proving that the knowledge and skills of management teams is effective and capable of responding to complex and dynamic risks. This leadership training course supports manager’s in being knowledgeable and skilled in the design and implementation of business continuity management exercises, both at the headquarters (crisis) as well as locational (incident) levels. This training supports exercise planners, mentors and facilitators in creating and implementing effective testing methodologies for business resiliency and continuity, and so achieve the desired learning outcomes through experiential learning. This course also helps leaders to understand what to look for and expect from external providers of crisis or incident management exercises. HR PHR Credits (Functional Area 6): This course supports Human Resource professionals in developing and then testing effective business continuity policies, plans and protocols, and communicating and training the workforce on safety, security and crisis management standards. It demonstrates sound resiliency and protects the organization from loss and liability, empowering organizational incident and emergency response measures and associated plans.
