Rallies, demonstrations, protests or large-scale gatherings can quickly turn violent, leading to property damage, injuries, arrests, assaults and deaths. Civil disorder incidents can also lead to prolonged business and operational disruptions. Riots can be fluid, moving across geographic areas, targeting individuals and groups, and then reemerging when it was thought the threat had passed.
