SM007_Ukrainian: Bomb Threat and IED Management: Managing Explosive Threats
The increases in domestic and international terrorism are resulting in increasing threats from improvised explosive devices, whether delivered by letter, parcel or within a vehicle. As such, leaders are responsible for understanding how to manage risks, or respond to events, whether the risk is on site, or in proximity to people, locations and events. This leadership course is designed to assist management teams in understanding and responding to suspect letters, packages, vehicles and other items, as well as potential or confirmed Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), enabling an organizational understanding of the different forms of threat from explosive devices, as well as corresponding risk mitigation and response measures in order to protect people, facilities, assets and operations. The training explains the forms IEDs take, the associated risk implications such as accidental triggering and blast distances, and what management responses are required, including the 4 Cs of Cordon, Clear, Command and Control. This training brings together management teams into a unified and mutually support approach to business continuity management. PLEASE REMEMBER - Some modules offer language subtitles.
