The Security Focal Point training course supports non-security professionals understand their role as a “touch point” on safety, security and emergency matters within a program – working to the local management team, as well as the home office team on understanding, identifying, managing and responding to threats. This includes roles and responsibilities, managing policies, plans and procedures, networking and stakeholder engagement, crisis communications and critical incident reporting, including security into meetings and program planning, facility and travel safety and security, training and testing, and emergency management activities.
