YRM004_English: Youth Risk Business Management for Event Organizers
Those leaders responsible for planning and conducting events which include minors and youth participants are required to consider risk management as an integrated component for event planning. This ensures that appropriate measures are put into practice which protects the safety, security and emotional wellbeing of young people; as well as those speakers, VIPs and other stakeholders participating in the event. The requirements of event risk management will be influenced by the nature, size, location and profile of the event, and as such the approach must be scalable and appropriate to the needs and risks of each event. Sound event risk management planning will consider establishing the initial planning phase requirements to consider and address the risks which the event may face, building risk management into the event activity and implementation phase, and ensuring that event risk management actions are taken to ensure the wellbeing of the participants.
