Human Resources plays a critical role in most forms of crisis event, being the focal point for managing staff and their dependents, including for family liaison and management functions. Human Resources have defined tasks within both the Crisis Management Leadership Team and any directly affected Local Incident Management Teams, accounting for staff, gathering NOK details, determining benefits and compensation packages with finance; while also dealing with other internal and external stakeholders.
