Legal Counsel is an important component of the Crisis Management Leadership Team, advising the Incident Commander on litigation and compliance issues, reviewing documents and reporting for potential legal vulnerabilities, determining culpability, engaging with local legal resources to provide support (notably in an arrest and detention situation).
