Management teams who lack the experience and qualifications on interview and investigations management may be required to conduct the initial stages of criminal investigations and interviews, meeting with and questioning staff regards potential ethical breaches. As such, it is critical that these non-investigative experienced or qualified managers understand the process for interviews and investigations management, and the risks associated with mishandling an incident. Understand how to identify deceit, while retaining the integrity of the process and ensuring that potential perpetrators are accorded due respect, is an important part of the process. Where managers engage or interact with external resources then understanding the PLAN system will provide the knowledge and confidence by which to lead or support the process.
