The Security Management Team and Guard Force may be responsible for establishing securing people, assets, information and facilities during an emergency situation, whether an intruder, civil disorder, active shooter or armed aggressor situation, or resulting from an industrial accident, health hazard or natural disaster. Lockdowns may be preventative or reactive in nature, and it is the responsibly of managers and staff to understand the measures needed to quickly, and effectively, secure a location.
