GFM004_English: Professional Standards and Documents

The Security Management Team, or those appointed to lead security services, are responsible for ensuring the professional standards of all security personnel, monitoring and enforcing these standards, and responding to any gaps, shortfalls or breaches in a timely and appropriate manner. Any performance nonconformity, whether at an individual or organizational level, must be reported using an Incident Report or Discipline Report, ensuring that an accurate and auditable record of gaps, shortfalls and failures, and the actions taken to correct them is maintained. This includes managing the security subcontractor and ensuring that contract terms and the associated professional standards are clearly articulated within contract documents, and that these are used to manage the performance of the guard force or associated services.
