MD006_English: Mass Casualty Situations and TRIAGE

Being able to effectively and appropriately deal with a mass casualty situation where people with various levels of distress or injuries need time critical and life-saving assistance will allow individuals to prioritize and administer life-saving aid to the right people - at the right time. This process removes emotion led responses, takes into account that some people may not be savable, and acknowledges that administering assistance to those most in need, and more likely to live under conditions where resources may be limited and the prioritization effort is critical – will require hard and knowledge led decision making under difficult conditions.
