Risk Management and Youth Programs [ILM, SHRM, and HRCI Certified] -French
Youth programs provide an opportunity to help grow the personal and professional capacity of young people. However, they can also present significant risks to individuals and organizations. The need to protect young people, engage in a timely and effective manner with families, activate and work with authorities, protect adults working with young people, understand how to respond effectively to a crisis event, and to protect the organization from litigation and reputational risks is critical. This course provides 3hrs of learning within 6 mandatory courses culminating in an ILM award, and up to 5hrs of learning [with individual certifications] within 9 elective courses. RSM is the only organization permitted to provide internationally certified Institute of Leadership Management [ILM] online certifications for those managing youth risk and crisis management, with an accompanying 8 HRCI and SHRM credits. The program can be taken at the participant’s pace, is provided in various languages, and it provides scope for participants to choose their own learning journey. Global PHR Credits (Functional Area 6): This course supports Human Resource professionals in ensuring workplace health, safety and security in accordance with federal laws and regulations; including an occupational injury prevention program to address workplace safety risks. The course helps professionals develop policies, plans and procedures to direct the appropriate use of electronic media and hardware, develop, monitor and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans, develop and administer privacy policies, and develop, implement and evaluate measures to protect employees and young people from a wide range of risks.
