S007_Arabic: Civil Disturbances (including riots) Awareness and Response

Civil gatherings or marches, however peaceful their intent, can quickly turn violent where agitators incite discord, aggressors attack the gathering, or where the police or military response may be heavy handed. By understanding the risks of either participating in an event, being caught unexpectedly in a gathering, or where the rally or demonstration passes an office, workspace, social event or home, then individuals and groups can better understand both the threats which might be faced, as well as how to reduce the danger from outbreaks of violence. This training helps individuals and groups understand how to avoid the danger, or how to react if caught in the street within a potentially unstable crowd, or where a riot is occurring. It also addresses how to react if observing from an office, or where a violent demonstration may be occurring within a social or home setting. PLEASE REMEMBER - Some modules offer language subtitles.
