The ability to develop knowledge and skills within leaders and staff is central to creating internal capacity to enhance performance and implement the organization’s mission, vision, goals and objectives. Regardless of the content area, the ability to impart information in an easily digestible manner, and to evaluate the absorption and application of knowledge is a critical leadership goal. This leadership package establishes the goals and responsibilities of those leaders developing and implementing awareness and competency programs in order to ensure that key concepts and practices are understood and applied, and that instructors are appropriately prepared for and ready to implement sound and effective instruction. The training also provides core teaching skills on the introduction to training, the qualities of a good instructor, learning styles and types of lessons, lesson structuring and confirming learning, and the selection and use of training aids [includes 6 programs of instruction]. HR PHR Credits (Functional Area 3): This course supports Human Resource professionals in developing and selecting employee training programs, whether instructor capacity building and leadership knowledge and skills, or staff level training regimes. The course helps develop, implement and evaluate performance management programs and procedures, including performance appraisals. The training aids with career development, training program development techniques, facilitation techniques mentoring and coaching strategies, and the techniques to asses training program effectiveness.
