The communication of tasks, responsibilities and risks is the foundation upon which effective security is built. It is the responsibility of leaders within the Security Organization, from the Security Manager down to a Shift leader, to provide the necessary information which allows the guard force to function. The 1st Parade Briefing provides a daily opportunity to ensure that the security team are fully aware of their responsibilities and priorities, and understand the chain of command; ensuring the safety of people, assets and infrastructures, as well as the protection of the wider organizational interests.
