Winter storms can have devastating impacts upon people, businesses and communities, occurring as both seasonal risks, but also with blizzards and freezes. Winter storms can cause cold weather and accident related injuries, property damages, blackouts, transport route disruption, and result in secondary risks such as critical service and utility failure and road traffic accidents.
